Bay Delta Conservation Plan

Client: California Natural Resources Agency

Role: Stakeholder involvement specialist

PACE Outreach principal, Morgan Lommele, wrote a report that synthesized public comments received during 13 public scoping meetings with members of the public and key stakeholders interested in the Bay Delta Conservation Plan. The BDCP is a comprehensive conservation strategy aimed at protecting dozens of species of fish and wildlife, while permitting the reliable operation of California’s two biggest water delivery projects. The report provided a concise summary of key issues and findings for each resource area to help the resource agency understand the substance of each comment and easily incorporate key public concerns and issues into the regulatory and planning process.
